His contribution to HPN comes from his extensive clinical and academic experiences on the ground in Tigray in the past as he held the following positions as former Head of Pharmacology at Mekelle University (MU), former Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at MU, and former Clinical Mentor on TB, HIV/AIDS, and PMTCT.
